OP 30.17 Learning Management System (LMS) Use Policy

Effective Fall 2026, Texas Tech University Operating Policy OP 30.17 establishes RaiderCanvas as the official Learning Management System for all credit-bearing courses. Beginning with the first class day on August 24, 2026, faculty must use RaiderCanvas to provide, at a minimum, for all organized classes of five or more students: 

Course shells for your fall sections will be available in RaiderCanvas on July 6, 2026, so you can begin building well ahead of the term. If you are moving to RaiderCanvas for the first time, we strongly encourgage  you to attend an early summer training session so you have amply time to prepare. You can also request a RaiderCanvas Development Shell; in the development shell you can add course content and import it into your live shell when it is available.
