Plans After College: After I complete my undergraduate education, I intend to apply and attend vet school. After vet school, I'd like to specialize in equine medicine and open my own practice.

Favorite Thing About Davis College/TTU: My favorite thing about The Davis College is the vast amount of opportunities for students to be involved in exceptional learning and leadership development. I especially appreciate the resources and support I have received from faculty and staff.

Advice for Future Students: Do not let other people's failures dictate your success. I painfully remember the countless times I was told I would not succeed as a student on the pre-veterinary tract because the courseload was so difficult. I was repeatedly told that I would drop out after the first semester because the chemistry was “too hard”. Quite frankly, it was incredibly difficult, however, I had to come to the realization that I did not have to fall under the same category as everyone else; and that ultimately, my success depended on my passion and dedication. Nothing that has value in life is easy, don't be discouraged.
