The Globalized Agriculture Scholarship was established by the friends of the Davis
College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural Resources in 2008. Scholarship benefits
students born outside the USA, regardless of citizenship, national origin, race or
ethnicity; and pursuing a degree in the Davis College of Agricultural Sciences & Natural
Resources. The student must also have a degree from an educational institution outside
of the USA; equivalent to a high school diploma or an undergraduate degree.
Globalized agriculture is a system of food production increasingly dependent upon
an economy and set of regulatory practices that are global in scale and organization.
