Texas Tech Pom Squad
Tech Pom Squad
The Texas Tech University Pom Squad is a dance team that consists of talented members with extensive dance training. Their style of dance is similar to professional sports dance teams. There are Tech Pom Squad alumni that are currently dancing for the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Comets, Houston Texans, New York Jets, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Some of the Pom Squad members work for companies such as NDA and UDA staff.
You can find the Tech Pom Squad cheering and dancing at home football games. The Squad also performs at women's volleyball, women's & men’s home basketball games, selected baseball and soccer games. In addition, selected members travel to the post season football bowl game, NCAA/NIT tournament basketball games, and the Big 12 basketball tournament. The squad also represents Texas Tech at many university and community events throughout the year.
