Texas Tech University, College of Human Sciences, Department of Design, Interior Design Program, Bachelor of Interior Design.

The following data was collected using institutional records and an alumni survey via email and social media that was administered four to six months after each graduation.

2018

Student Attrition and Retention 2018:
85.11% of students admitted in the fall of 2017 returned in the fall of 2018, putting attrition at 14.89%.

Graduation Rates 2018:
Of the students graduating in 2018, 86% graduated in 4 years.

Acceptance into Graduate Programs 2018:
25% of the 16 students who graduated in 2018 applied for graduate school, and 25% were accepted.
12.5% attended graduate school.

Job Placement Rates 2018:
100% of the 16 students who graduated in 2018 are employed in interior design or a related profession.

2017

Student Attrition and Retention 2017:
83.67% of students admitted in the fall of 2016 returned in 2017, putting the attrition rate at 16.33%.

Graduation Rates 2017:
Of the students graduating in 2017, 86% graduated in 4 years.

Acceptance into Graduate Programs 2017:
7% of 15 students who graduated in 2017 applied for graduate school, and 7% were accepted.
7% attended graduate school.

Job Placement Rates 2017:
100% of students who graduated in 2017 are employed in interior design or a related profession.

2016

Student Attrition and Retention:
84.29% of students admitted in 2015 returned in 2016, putting the attrition rate at 15.71%.

Graduation Rates:
Of the students graduating in 2016, 84% graduated in 4 years.

Acceptance into Graduate Programs:
0% of students who graduated in 2016 applied for graduate school, and 0% were accepted.

Job Placement Rates:
79% of 27 students who graduated in 2016 are employed in interior design or a related profession.
21% of 27 students who graduated in 2016 made other life choices.
