Valerie Komkov Hill Has No Idea Why She Started Drawing Llamas

Valerie Komkov Hill (BFA, 1973; BA 1976; MA 1987) is a familiar name to many in the School of Theatre & Dance and Lubbock communities. She has been widely recognized for her artistic contributions and has helped shape the lives and careers of a generation of Lubbock dancers.

How Fortunate We Are

As we end the spring semester, the School of Dance at Texas Tech is cognizant of just how fortunate we are. After finishing our season with Frontier Fest, featuring original plays and choreography, we are proud to have (safely) shared our new theatre spaces this year with audiences who care deeply about supporting the arts.

How is it already May? Where did the year go? It feels like yesterday when I was writing my first In Motion article for newsletter reflecting on the year ahead of us. And now, here we are, closing out the academic year and heading off for the summer.
