Graduates of this 12-hour undergraduate certificate program will possess a strong foundation in entomology, vector biology, and the management of vector-borne diseases, making them highly competitive in fields such as a public health, vector control, and entomology. Students entering the program should have a background in biology or a related field, and prerequisites may apply for certain courses. Program duration will depend upon when courses are offered and the student’s interests, but the certificate program is expected to be completed in two semesters.
