Tanner is a Junior Microbiology major who has been a part of CISER for over a year. He works under Dr. Hegde in the Obesity and Metabolic Health Lab. His project focuses on understanding how E4orf1 can modulate hepatic fat accumulation in Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
