Register to present or attend the URC at the Center for Undergraduate Research.

Since 2009, the URC is hosted by TrUE (Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences). Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) is one of the Nation's largest interdisciplinary undergraduate research conferences. The URC is a wonderful celebration of the rich Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities landscape at Texas Tech, and it regularly features a number of presenters from other colleges and universities from across the region.

URC History

The TTU Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) was first organized by the CISER Scholar Service Organization in 1997 as “Research Days” in order to give undergraduates an opportunity to present their research to the TTU and area communities. The event is held every spring semester and is now open to all undergraduate researchers from all disciplines on campus. During the week, students have an opportunity to present their research, meet visiting alumni to discuss careers in STEM. Several poster, oral and panel presentation sessions are attended and evaluated by university faculty, undergraduate and graduate students.
