Mission Statement

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships provides access, aid, and advisory services for the Texas Tech University community to facilitate student recruitment, enrollment, retention, and completion.

Vision Statement

The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships strives to balance responsible stewardship of all financial aid and scholarship funds ensuring that students find value and pursue their academic goals without distraction. We ensure that students, faculty, and staff have access and understand the financial aid process through excellent customer service, in a student-centered culture that respects the needs, values, and diversity of our campus. We are an active campus partner providing service and outreach about financial aid and scholarships as needed. When measured against peer institutions, we strive to be a leader in our profession through efficient, technologically based processes, and internal operations. We provide solutions to challenges resulting from economic conditions or changes to federal, state, institutional, and private funding rules.
