Loan Repayment

You may have questions about loan repayment - Why is it important? Where do I begin? What is best for my situation? The good news is there are many resources available to help you make these important financial decisions.


Learn about the loan responsibilities you'll face as Graduation or Leave-taking approaches. You'll need to complete exit counseling and begin thinking about your repayment strategy.


A Grace Period is a length of time when payments are not required on your loan. Learn what to do during your Grace Period & how Interest Accrues.


The Federal Perkins Loan offers a 10-year repayment period and are paid in fixed monthly installments. The Federal Direct Student and PLUS Loans offer two types of repayment plans: a plan based on your income and a plan based on how much you borrowed.
