About Fraternity & Sorority Life
Fraternity & Sorority Life supports the fraternity and sorority community at Texas Tech through advising, education, leadership development, advocacy and partnership.
Our office works with students, chapter leaders, advisors, alumni, inter/national organizations and campus partners to strengthen the fraternity and sorority experience. We support Texas Tech's four governing councils and the organizations they represent while helping students build meaningful connections, develop as leaders and contribute to their communities.

Why We Exist
Fraternity & Sorority Life serves as a resource and advocate for students and organizations throughout the Texas Tech fraternity and sorority community.
- Provide guidance, resources and advocacy for fraternity and sorority members
- Serve as a liaison among collegiate chapters, council leaders, alumni, advisors, inter/national organizations and Texas Tech University

Our Approach
Fraternity & Sorority Life believes strong fraternity and sorority communities are built through partnership, personal growth and prevention. The office works alongside student leaders, chapter advisors, alumni, inter/national headquarters and campus partners to support organizations and address challenges collaboratively.
Partnership
We build relationships with students, advisors, campus departments and inter/national organizations to support chapters, communicate expectations and identify solutions that strengthen the community.
Personal Growth
We create opportunities for students to develop leadership skills, learn from their experiences, build relationships across councils and take responsibility for the communities they help create.
Prevention & Responsibility
We promote safer fraternity and sorority experiences through education, planning, resources and accountability. Our staff helps chapters understand university expectations and connects students with resources that support health, safety and responsible decision-making.
