Peanut Butter is not commonly used in dining locations.
Peanut butter is handled at our Production Kitchen that makes pre-packaged goods.
Safety protocols are in place when producing peanut butter wedge sandwiches. The production
team creates peanut butter sandwiches at the end of the day on covered tables and
uses cleaning protocols for safely packaging peanut butter wedge sandwiches. These
items are packaged in wedge containers and delivered to grab-and-go coolers campus-wide.
Peanut Butter is sold in mini pc’s (portion containers) at select locations (Einstein Bros. Bagels®,
Starbucks®, and other units) available upon request and is housed in separate bins
in small plastic containers or prepackaged items directly from manufactures.
Peanut Butter Desserts
Pies (PNB Cups and Snicker Pies) are in clam shell boxes in the grab-and-go sections
at The Market’s mini market and should be labeled “Contains Nuts.”
Peanut Butter Ice Cream Bars
Poolside- Frozen Single Wrapped Ice Cream Bars may contain peanuts
Peanut Toppings are available on Smoothie lines that offer Acai bowls and on salad bars and salad
options at The Market, The Commons, Sam’s Places, Grab and Go Salads, and at select
franchise locations such as Chick Fil A.
Peanut Butter Milkshakes
The F `real ™ smoothie machine at The Market and Sam’s Place Murray has a peanut butter
cup milkshake option. This is a high cross-contact area due to this product potentially
being blended on common equipment with non-peanut butter milkshakes and smoothies.
Peanut Oil
Sunflower seeds on select salad bars may contain peanut oil per food production labels.
Chick-Fil-A® breaded chicken is fried in peanut oil.
Pre-packaged candy, nuts, and more that are labeled and packaged by common manufacturing
companies.
Pre-packaged Peanut Products
Mini Markets and Poolside locations carry pre-packaged peanut products such as Sabritas:
Salt &Lime or Chili & Lime Roasted Peanuts, traditional candy bars, protein bars,
peanut snack & trail mixes, and packaged nut products such as Planters’ peanuts and
other name brand items.
Tree Nuts Information
Grab-and-Go: Pecan Chicken Salads are available and contain the word “pecans” in the name of the
salad.
Milk Alternatives: Select nut milks, almond milk is available at select locations and on smoothie bars
as an alternative.
Pecan Pie: Where desserts are sold (The Commons, The Market, and Sam’s Murray), these items
are in wedge containers for resale.
Muffins: Banana Nut Muffins
Nuts on Salad Bars: May contain pecans or sunflower seeds coated in peanut oil.
Bagels: Select varieties may contain tree nuts and/or seeds (Protein Bagel).
Brownies: In dessert cases campus-wide, may contain tree nuts (pecans and walnuts) on top or
inside
Be aware of cookie cases that could contain Macadamia Cookies
Pre-packaged Nut Products: Mini Markets and Poolside locations carry pre-packaged nut products such as traditional
candy bars, protein bars, almond/cashew snack & trail mixes, and packaged nut products.
