Environmental Design
Program Information
Admission to the Graduate School must be obtained through the Graduate Admissions Office. Admission to a graduate program in the area of Environmental Design is based on a review by the Director of Graduate Programs for graduate students and the faculty. No single criterion is used. Credentials are evaluated according to the following criteria.
- GPA from undergraduate/graduate study
- TOEFL scores (International Students)
- Copies of official transcripts
- Letters of recommendation (preferably from both academic and industry sources)
- Portfolio Review
Applicant's Career Goals
- Applicant's career objectives
- Telephone and/or on-campus interview
Resume or Vitae
- Special accomplishments in industry or academic pursuits
- Leadership experience
- Other experience relevant to the pursuit of a graduate degree
A minimum of 34 credit hours is required for the Environmental Design Master's Degree Program. The student in consultation with the Director of Graduate Programs for graduate studies and Program Advisory Committee organizes a plane of study to include a minimum of:
- 22 credit hours in the specialization area,
- 9 electives/support collateral,
- 3 hours for the final report.
