Gina Camacho is a Texas Tech University graduate who is pursuing her Masters of Environmental Design within the Department of Design at the College of Human Sciences.  She is originally from the Rio Grande Valley of south Texas but has come to call Lubbock home over the past few years.  She has experience working in residential and commercial firms but plans to pursue her dream of becoming the first Doctor in her family.  She is also active in the International Interior Design Association at the professional level and is one of the youngest members to ever serve on the board.  She believes that sustainability in design and innovation in the design process are the next steps towards enriching and improving the built environment.
