Bio

Dr. Lori Guerrero is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Design at Texas Tech University. She earned a Master of Science in Environmental Design and a Doctor of Philosophy in Interior Environmental Design from Texas Tech University. She received a Master of Interior Design from Florence Design Academy in Florence, Italy. In addition to Guerrero's scholarly accomplishments, she also brings a practitioner's perspective to the courses she teaches. She is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas, she passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification exam and practiced multiple sectors of residential and commercial interior design. Dr. Guerrero serves as a leader of the Texas Tech Coalition for Natural Learning, member of the state leadership team of OLE! Texas, board member of the International Interior Design Association West Texas City Center, and faculty advisor to the Texas Tech International Interior Design Association Campus Center.
