Andrea Wade, Ph.D., IIDA

About me

Dr. Andrea Wade is a Lecturer in the Department of Design at Texas Tech University. She earned her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University from the Department of Design. She received her M.S. in Interior Design Education from Colorado State University and she earned a B.I.D. in Interior Design from Texas Tech University.

Andrea Wade has practiced interior design in various commercial formats for Texas Tech University and in private business. She specializes in office space planning and the incorporation of activity encouragement within workplace design.

Andrea is a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Texas (via the National Council of Interior Design Qualification Exam) and is in pursuit of attaining her WELL Certification. She is a council member for IIDA – West Texas City Center and serves as an advisor to several area school districts’ CTE programs for interior design.
