Skyviews will run the Sam’s Kiosk for lunch while the beloved Dinner Series will be hosted in El Centro
With renovations still underway, the Skyviews Restaurant team is getting creative with its hospitality and food service this semester. Traditionally students in the Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management (RHIM) program complete their food service lab courses at the Texas Tech Plaza location. With an extensive renovation still in the works, the Hospitality and Retail Management department offered to head up the Sam's Express kiosk in Human Sciences for lunch service each weekday.
Students who visit Sam's in Human Sciences can expect the same grab-and-go type of snacks and drinks as well as new additions from the Skyviews lunch menu. Fresh items include deli sandwiches, salads, wraps, breakfast sandwiches, and more. RHIM students will run the service, rather than Texas Tech hospitality services staff.
The highly anticipated Dinner Series is moving to the College of Human Sciences starting September 24th, in El Centro (located on the first floor of Human Sciences). The theme for the fall series is Pop-Up Restaurants. Diners can make their reservation at skyviews.ttu.edu using OpenTable.
