Bio

Harsh received his B.S. and M.S. Degrees in Biochemistry from India. As part of his M.S. thesis, he worked to understand the causal link between benign prostate hyperplasia and prostate cancer. After graduating, he worked as an assistant professor in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, India for three years before joining the Ph.D. program in Nutritional Sciences in Fall, 2018. His current research involves studying the brain control of liver metabolism using pharmacological, molecular, and surgical approaches in animal models.
