Nutritional Sciences Graduate Minor

A graduate minor in Nutritional Sciences is designed for students who seek information about nutrition or diet in their education to supplement or complement the current program of the student. It can be earned at either the master's level or the doctorate level. A minor in Nutritional Sciences will appear on your transcript as an additional area of study completed.

For students pursuing a master's degree they must complete:

  • NS 5365-Vitamins & Minerals
  • NS 5370-Carbohydrates, Proteins & Lipids
  • and an additional Nutritional Sciences elective for a total of 9 hours.

M.S. Degree Plan

For doctorate students, they must complete:

  • NS 5365-Vitamins & Minerals
  • NS 5370-Carbohydrates, Proteins & Lipids
  • and an additional 9 hours Nutritional Sciences elective for a total of 15 hours.
