Bio

I'm an undergraduate (senior) and my major is Nutrition and Dietetics. I wanted to get involved in research to see what it's about and familiarize myself with the various projects that Dr. Shin conducts after being introduced to the subject while attending one of his courses. Being fairly new to research, I'm currently reading articles about the link between Alzheimer's disease and insulin resistance, apoptosis and mitochondrial dysfunction in Alzheimer's, and assisting in the lab when I can in order to gain the experience needed to hopefully start my own project.
