Namratha Mohan

Bio

My name is Namratha Mohan and I am a freshman Honors student from Dallas, TX. I am pursuing a B.A. degree in Psychology, a B.G.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Health Professions, and a minor in Chemistry. I joined Dr. Shin's laboratory in Spring 2020 as a Pi Squared Scholar and an Undergraduate Research Scholar through the Honors College mentored by Dr. Shin. In addition to research, I am involved in HON (Eta Omicron Nu), the Pi Squared Research Program, Phi Kappa Phi, Raider Medical Screening Society, and volunteering at UMC. I will be assisting in finding an association between type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease. After graduating, I plan on attending medical school.
