Fereshteh Dehghani
Fereshteh Dehghani obtained her B.S. and M.S. in nutritional sciences from Iran. During her master's program, she conducted a randomized clinical trial and several systematic reviews and meta-analyses with the focus on functional foods and chronic disease. Fereshteh joined the nutritional sciences program as a Ph.D. student in fall 2021 and received Distinguished Graduate Student Assistantship award. She is interested in studying the crosstalk between the brain, especially the brain reward system, brown adipose tissue, and the gut.
