Thomas G. Kimball, Ph.D., LMFT, is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Student Mental Health Community at Texas Tech University (TTU).  He is also charged with overseeing international recovery collaborations for the College of Human Sciences.  For 19 years, Dr. Kimball worked at the Center for Collegiate Recovery Communities at TTU, serving as Director for 9 of those years.  He has received numerous teaching awards for his courses on families, addiction, & recovery.   He is the author of several peer reviewed articles on addiction, recovery, and mental health and has consulted and presented on these topics internationally.  He is the co-author of the book, Six Essentials to Achieve Lasting Recovery. He has been married to Melissa for 32 years, has five children, and three grandsons (Freddie, Ben, & Hayden).
