Undergraduate Program Scholarships

A variety of competitive scholarships are available for new and returning IE undergraduates. Departmental scholarships are primarily based on academic performance and student involvement. Applications must be completed online through Scholarship Universe and received by February 1. For questions about Scholarship Universe, please reach out to TTU Financial Aid.

All scholarships awarded by the IE Department will be for one year at a time. To apply for scholarship renewal, you must complete your Continuing Student Scholarship Application through Scholarship Universe. Continuation is dependent upon a number of factors including availability of funds, academic performance, financial need, qualifications of other applicants and faculty assessment of students' progress towards graduation.

College Scholarships

The Whitacre College of Engineering offers a number of externally funded scholarships.

• Incoming first-year students and transfer students can apply at www.applytexas.org and Scholarship Universe
• Current students must apply atwww.scholarships.ttu.edu prior to February 1st each year.

Once a student applies, they are matched to the scholarship for which they qualify. The general scholarship application covers all college and departmental scholarships. There are additional, external scholarship applications also available through Scholarship Universe which may require an additional/separate application.
