Just before the holiday break, a pair of administrators traveled to Washington D.C. to discuss how TTU K-12 could provide online coursework for U.S. citizens living abroad. Justin Louder (center), associate vice provost for eLearning and interim superintendent of TTU K-12; and Cary Sallee (right), senior director of operations, met with staff from the U.S. Department of State's Office of Overseas Schools. The day concluded with a meeting with Tibor Nagy (left), the assistant secretary of state for African Affairs. Ambassador Nagy previously served as Texas Tech University's vice provost for international affairs. Our full-time diploma program, supplemental course offerings and CBEs could provide individuals stationed abroad with the opportunity to complete a U.S.-based curriculum and program.
