Scholarship Opportunities

We are proud to offer two competitive scholarships for Texas Tech K-12 graduates interested in attending Texas Tech University. The scholarship is now $2,000 per academic year.

First-Time College Student

Entering first-year students deadline to apply is March 31 – scholarships awarded April 14.

Students eligible to apply for this scholarship must be either:

  • A full-time Texas Tech K-12 senior and have successfully completed 20 or more credits with a minimum cumulative adjusted GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • A Texas Tech K-12 graduate with a minimum cumulative adjusted GPA of 3.0 or higher and has not previously attended a college or university.
Scholarship Application

College Transfer or
Current TTU Student

Entering transfer students deadline to apply is March 31 – scholarships awarded April 28.
Returning undergraduate students deadline to apply is May 1 – scholarships awarded May 31.

Students eligible to apply for this scholarship must be a Texas Tech K-12 graduate, and either:

  • Transferring to TTU as a full-time student with a 3.0 minimum cumulative adjusted GPA or higher.
  • A current full-time TTU student with a 3.0 minimum cumulative adjusted GPA or higher.
Scholarship Application
Full-time seniors and graduates who plan to, or, are already attending Texas Tech University, are encouraged to review each scholarship's requirements and apply for the $2,000 renewable scholarship which they qualify for.
