Choose the Right International Pathway

Texas Tech K-12 offers two primary diploma pathways for international students.

Concurrent Diploma

Two Schools. Two Diplomas. More Opportunity.

The Concurrent Diploma pathway allows eligible students to work toward two high school diplomas simultaneously:

A diploma from their local school + a Texas high school diploma from Texas Tech K-12.

Students complete a combination of Texas Tech K-12 online courses and eligible coursework transferred from their local school.

This pathway may be a good fit for students who:

Want to remain enrolled in their local school
Want the opportunity to earn a U.S. high school diploma
Are prepared to complete coursework in English
Want to expand their academic experience while completing their local education

Students must demonstrate adequate English language skills to succeed in the program. Entrance exams are used to help assess academic and English proficiency before admission.

Single Diploma

A Texas High School Diploma, From Anywhere in the World

The Single Diploma pathway is designed for students who want to complete their high school education through Texas Tech K-12.

Students complete Texas Tech K-12 curriculum entirely through online coursework and work toward earning a Texas high school diploma.

This pathway may be a good fit for students who:

Want a fully online high school experience
Want to earn a Texas high school diploma
Need flexibility for when and where they learn
Have strong English language skills
Are prepared for rigorous reading, writing and communication in English

Because coursework is completed in English, strong English proficiency is important for student success.
