For Full-Time Texas Tech K‑12 Students: Taking the AP Exam
Since Texas Tech K‑12 does not offer in-person testing, full-time students must arrange to test at a local school.
Contact a local school no later than October 31, 2025, to ensure you meet their registration deadlines. Schools must place AP exam orders with the College Board in early November.
Here's how:
- Find a nearby AP testing school
- Contact the AP Coordinator at that school and ask if they allow outside testers.
- Follow the schools registration process, deadlines, and pay any required fees.
- You may be enrolled in their “exam only” course section.
- Stay enrolled in both:
- Your Texas Tech K‑12 course section
- The local schools exam-only section
When registering, use the following school information:
School Name: Texas Tech University High School
School Code: 444357
