Richard D. Stevens
Interim Director, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum at Texas Tech University
Curator of Mammals, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum at Texas Tech University
Professor, Department of Natural Resources Management, Texas Tech University

Richard Stevens' research interests lie at the intersection of community ecology, macroecology, and biogeography but are grounded in collections-based research. Part of his work examines the basic community ecology of bats and rodents in Paraguay, California, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas, in particular the effects of species environment interactions, dispersal, seasonality and competition on the structure of communities. Caleb D. Phillips
Interim Assistant Director, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum at Texas Tech
University
Curator of Genetic Resources, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum at Texas
Tech University
Associate Professor, Department of Biological Sciences, Texas Tech University
Bio of Caleb Phillips | Caleb Phillips email (opens in new window)
The Phillips laboratory studies metagenomic and genomic evolution underlying mammalian adaptations. Owing to the diversity and uniqueness of bats, most of our current projects utilize chiropteran systems. Read more about Dr. Phillips
Nancy E. McIntyre
Curator of Birds, Natural Science Research Laboratory, Museum at Texas Tech University
Professor, Landscape and Community Ecology, Department of Biological Sciences, Texas
Tech University
Bio of Nancy McIntyre | Nancy McIntyre email (opens in new window)
Nancy E. McIntyre's research interests include landscape ecology and community ecology in grasslands and urban ecosystems. More specific interests focus on the effects of anthropogenic changes to the environment (especially agriculture and urbanization, the two dominant forms of human land use) on the abundance, diversity, and long-term viability of animals. Jennifer C. Girón
Curator of Invertebrate Zoology, NSRL, Museum at Texas Tech University
Bio of Jennifer Girón| Jennifer Girón email (opens in new window)
Jennifer is in charge of the Invertebrate Zoology Collection. Her duties include processing loan requests and incoming accessions, organizing and curating the collection, and training students and volunteers in curatorial tasks. Her research focuses on the taxonomy and systematics of beetles, especially in the Neotropical region. Read more about Dr. Girón
Jorge Salazar-Bravo
