Volunteers
Volunteers make a vital contribution to the Natural Science Research Laboratory (NSRL),
bringing new skills and perspectives, and undertaking activities that would not otherwise
be carried out. Volunteers include a wide range of individuals from high school students
to senior citizens. They may have special skills which they wish to contribute or
may be generalists wishing to build their resume.
There are many opportunities to give to the NSRL through volunteering. Some of the activities that volunteers have undertaken in the past include helping with the collection (tying tags, cleaning skeletal material, organizing specimens, conducting inventory) and assisting with data entry.
To find out how to become a fundamental part of the NSRL's activities and day-to-day operations email the Museum Education office at museum.education@ttu.edu or call (806)742-2432. Ages 13 and above.
