The Undergraduate Writing Center at TTU is recruiting consultants for spring 2026. We are looking for students who are interested in helping their fellow Red Raiders. The Writing Centers of Texas Tech University welcomes applicants from all disciplines, cultures, and language backgrounds.

All majors are encouraged to apply!

Consultants in their first semester with the UWC work 6-10 hours a week, which includes a mandatory 1-hour meeting for professional development each week. Consultants' duties include attending paid training that takes place the week before classes start, participating in ongoing training during the first few weeks of the semester, leading consultations with students, attending weekly professional development staff meetings, and other duties, which may include leading orientation sessions and working on projects of interest.
