Campus & Off-Campus Bus Service

Citibus provides bus service on and around the Texas Tech campus. Campus routes connect academic buildings, residence areas, commuter parking and other destinations across the university.

Students living off campus may also have access to routes connecting participating apartment areas with Texas Tech. Routes and stops change over time, so students should use current transportation maps and schedules rather than relying on individual apartment listings.

Using Off-Campus Routes

Students using a bus route from an off-campus residential area may be dropped off at one of several locations around campus. From there, students can transfer to a campus route, walk or use another transportation option to reach their destination.

Texas Tech students may also ride regular Citibus fixed routes by presenting a valid Texas Tech student ID.

Blue Light Emergency Phones

Blue Light emergency phones are located throughout the Texas Tech campus and provide a direct connection to the Texas Tech Police Department. The phones are identified by a blue light above the phone box and should be used to report emergencies.
