Student Fees
The Student Government Association represents the student body in university processes related to student fees and helps connect students with information about fee advisory committees, meetings and recommendations.
Student fee committees provide opportunities for student input into how certain university fees are reviewed and recommended. Current tuition and fee amounts, official fee schedules and billing information are maintained by Student Business Services.
How the Student Fee Process Works
Texas Tech uses advisory committees and other university processes to review certain student fees. Students serve on these committees and provide input on fee-supported programs, services and proposed changes.
Depending on the fee, a committee may review budgets, consider requests or recommendations from university departments and provide recommendations to university leadership.
SGA helps connect students with these processes and provides information about opportunities for student participation.
