Reason(s) why you joined the staff senate?

I’ve had friends who served on Staff Senate and shared how meaningful and rewarding the experience was. I also had the privilege of receiving the Staff Senate scholarship, which gave me a firsthand look at the tangible ways they support staff. Being a part of the Tech community has meant so much to me, and I wanted to find a way to give back and help others in the same way.

Favorite Texas Tech memory or favorite Texas Tech sport?

Some of my favorite memories of Tech took place in the SUB when I worked for the ID Office. One of the most quintessential Texas Tech things that happen is when Raider Red and the Masked Rider would come in their mascot garb to get their ID cards!

Favorite hidden gem in Lubbock?

I think the little waterfall at the Buddy Holly Lake Recreation Area is a neat hidden gem! I remember going there as a kid, and I took my kids there this summer too- they thought it was fun!
