Steps to Apply 

1. Familiarize yourself with the 2025-2026 Peer Mentor Job Overview
2. Fill out the Transfer Ambassador Application by logging in with your eraider credentials. 
3. Prepare a resume and all relevant materials to be attached to the application and used if chosen for an interview. We strongly recommend using the TTU Career Center. 
4. Pay attention to your Texas Tech email for communication from our Student Engagement staff. All employment communication, including invitations to online or in-person interviews will come from a Texas Tech email address and a member of the Student Engagement team. 

To be eligible for employment, all Transfer Ambassador candidates must:

• Maintain a minimum 2.5 Texas Tech GPA during employment.
• Be in good academic and disciplinary standing with Texas Tech University.
• Be a full time undergraduate student on the TTU Lubbock campus.
• Be a transfer student.
• Attend regular trainings/meetings and Transfer Connection events. 
• Pass a security sensitive background check and drug screening prior to employment.
