Kerri Pike

Originally from Lubbock, Kerri graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning in 2003.  During her time in PFP, Kerri served with Red to Black as a financial counselor and educator writing several training documents for Red to Black, including presentations for IS1100 courses, basic financial advice, pre-marriage financial decisions and discussion, understanding employee benefits offers and packages, and others.  While working with Red to Black, Kerri also earned her Accredited Financial Counselor designation. 

Upon graduation, Kerri became the Unit Coordinator/Account Manager for the Texas Tech Student Government Association working directly with students and student organizations. She spent six years with SGA, and While working in SGA, Kerri completed her Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction. At that time, Kerri left TTU to teach junior and senior level English at Lubbock-Cooper High School.

After four years in the classroom, Kerri returned to TTU in 2014 as the Business Manager for the TLPDC. Kerri's role has expanded over the years, and now she oversees all financial, human resources, and facilities management processes within the TLPDC.

When Kerri is not thinking about TLPDC funding, she and her husband, Philip, are chasing their three teenagers: Izzy, Jasper, and Kaitlyn. Kerri is an avid reader and writer outside of the TLPDC, so be sure to ask her what book she is currently reading. She also enjoys crafting particularly in the areas of quilting, embroidery, and currently learning to do resin art.
