Whitacre College of Engineering Learning Assistants Program

Spring 2026 LA Courses

We are looking for LAs who are in the Whitacre College of Engineering, have successfully earned an A or B in the course they are applying for, and are interested in helping other students succeed. 

To be a Learning Assistant, students should be available during the regular course times. LAs should not register for the course.

Below is a list of available LA courses in the Whitacre College of Engineering:

• CHE 3232 | Transport Lab
  • 701 | MW 1:00pm-1:50pm
• CS 3361 | Concepts of Programming Languages
  • 002 | MWF 2:00pm-2:50pm
• ENGR 1340 | Introduction to Engineering Design
  • 005 | MWF 12:00pm-12:50pm
  • 016 | MWF 3:00pm-03:50 pm
• ENGR 2392 | Engineering Ethics and Its Impacts on Society
  
  • 003 | TR 9:30am-10:50am
• ME 3333 | Dynamic Systems and Vibrations
  • 001 | TR 12:30pm-1:50pm

Want to be a Learning Assistant in the Whitacre College of Engineering?

We are looking for students who:

• Enjoy interacting and learning with fellow students
• Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (preferred)
• Earned an A or B in the courses described above
• Positions will be filled as needed
