These classes are designed to support students who may not be fully prepared for college-level courses by reviewing core content, teaching effective note-taking strategies, and helping with study techniques for college level exams. This additional support can help boost students' confidence and academic success.
Please note that TSI courses do not count toward general degree requirements and will not contribute to full-time enrollment. Each TSI class at Texas Tech has a flat fee of $50.00.
If you need to complete TSI coursework in both math and English, its a good idea to consult with your advisor to determine the best order in which to take the classes. Additionally, we offer smaller math classes in the Spring, which may provide a more personalized learning experience.
