TSI RRO
What is RRO?
Red Raider Orientation (RRO) is designed to help you become familiar with campus, learn about campus resources, meet other new students, and register for classes.
Registration Holds at Red Raider Orientation
There are several reasons why an incoming Red Raider might have holds preventing registration prior to and at RRO. The following video explains RRO related holds and what office you need to contact regarding that specific hold.
What is TSI?
The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a state-mandated developmental education program that provides support to students who have not demonstrated college-readiness in reading, writing, or mathematics. TSI at Texas Tech University creates customized academic support plans for developmental coursework in these key areas to ensure students will be successful in their selected academic majors and beyond.
Students who are required to enroll in TSI courses will receive notification prior to their RRO session via their TTU email. Please make sure to check the Admitted Student Tasklist, review your TSI hold, and prepare for TSI advising prior to your registration date.
Students will receive information regarding TSI advising via email at their TTU email address. Please review the TSI advising page for additional details.
