TSI Holds
Why do I have a TSI hold? What does it mean?
If your hold says “TSI New Student”, then your academic records need to be reviewed for TSI compliance. Please contact the TSI Compliance Office at 806-742-3661 or at registrar.tsi@ttu.edu.
If your hold says “TSI Needs ...”, then you will need to take the TSI Assessment. Please contact Academic Testing Services at 806-742-3671 or at testing@ttu.edu to set up a remote TSI Assessment session.
If your hold says “TSI Needs M”, then you will need to take the Math portion of the
Assessment. Similarly, "... W" means Writing portion, "... R" means Reading portion,
and "... ALL" means all three subjects.
If your holds says “TSI Already Tested”, then you will need to attend TSI Check-In to discuss your specific TSI requirements. Information regarding TSI Check-In during Red Raider Orientation will be provided via email. For any questions or concerns regarding TSI support courses, please contact the TSI Office at 806-742-3242 or at tsi@ttu.edu.
If you have a TSI hold and believe you are TSI exempt, please review the TSI exemption form and contact the TSI Compliance Office for further assistance.
