Hyeju Kim, PhD
Program Manager - Developmental Mathematics
As a Math Instructor for College Readiness within the Texas Success Initiative, I'm dedicated to fostering an inclusive learning environment for higher education students.
With a Doctoral Degree in Mathematics from Drexel University, Philadelphia in 2023, I've been proudly serving on the Texas Tech College Readiness team since Fall 2023. Currently I'm responsible for developing TSI math course materials- as well as teaching TSI Beginning Algebra, College Algebra, and Pre-Calculus classes.
With seven years of experience teaching mathematics at the college level, I am honored to have received the Teaching Assistant Award during my PhD program.
My teaching philosophy centers around creating interactive and engaging experiences
that cater to diverse learning styles. I find immense joy in building meaningful connections
with my students and colleagues while also actively contributing to the community.
