The College of Engineering Job Fair is a perfect chance to see just what kind of engineers Texas Tech is producing. With fairs during both the fall and spring semester, we have recruitment opportunities to fit hiring cycles.
Invitation for the Spring 2008 Engineering Job Fair
The Dean’s Office of the TTU College of Engineering invites you to attend our Spring 2008 Engineering Job Fair.
The Fair will be held at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center on February 13th, 2008. Set up will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the student walk through beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. Please mark your calendars now.
Our College of Engineering has over 3,500 students enrolled. Majors include:
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Petroleum Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Computer Science
- Engineering Physics
- Engineering Technology specializations — Construction, Electrical-Electronics, and Mechanical.
We are excited about working with you to help you find qualified students for co-op, intern and/or full-time positions.
For this event we will provide you with publicity, a 10x10 draped booth space with 8ft. skirted table, two chairs and electrical outlet (this does NOT include extension cords or adapters), free wireless internet and breakfast and lunch for your company’s representatives. Companies will be able to purchase multiple booth spaces, if they would like.

Holiday Inn Hotel & Towers Civic Center Atrium
Holiday Inn is the official hotel for the Engineering Job Fair. The Holiday Inn Hotel & Towers in Lubbock is right across the street form the Civic Center. We have negotiated an “Engineering Job Fair” rate of $75/night. To make reservations please use the Holiday Inn Reservation link on our website (www.coe.ttu.edu/careers).
Interview rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis at the TTU Career Center for conducting on-campus interviews. We suggest that you plan a follow-up visit to campus for these interviews.
