Description: NSF Day at Texas Tech - Texas Tech NSF Day provides insight and instruction on how to compete for and secure NSF funding for science, engineering and education research. This day-long workshop will provide background on the NSF, its mission, priorities and budget. Representatives from NSF will give an overview on proposal writing, NSF's merit review process, and programs that fall within our seven scientific and engineering directorates, as well as funding opportunities that cross disciplinary boundaries. Additionally, NSF representatives will be on hand in breakout sessions to personally engage in discussions potential research proposals with attendees.
