Admissions

While courses for our Online BBA program will not begin until the fall of 2024, we encourage you to start the application process now to secure your place in our academic community. As part of your application, we highly encourage you submit an essay detailing your motivation for applying to the Online BBA program and how you plan to succeed in an online learning environment.

Admission Requirements


Transfer Students / Students with College Experience

You are considered a transfer student if, upon your high school graduation, you attended an institution of higher education.

Students transferring from another institution must have a 2.75 GPA or higher on a minimum of 15 credit hours and have completed MATH 1331 (TCCNS MATH 1325) with a grade of C or higher.

First Time in College

You are considered a first-time in college applicant if, upon your high school graduation, you have not attended any institution of higher education. 

Students who apply and provide an ACT or SAT score must meet the assured admission criteria for Texas Tech. Students who apply test-optional will go through a holistic review process to determine admission to the business major.
