About Professor Cardella

Dr. Laura Cardella joined Texas Tech University in 2012 as an Assistant Professor in Finance. Her research focuses on the strategic interaction of firms and their risk management practices. She is also interested in competition among trading platforms and the changing environment of the stock exchange industry. Dr. Cardella earned her M.S. in Quantitative Financial Engineering from Oklahoma State University and received B.A. degrees in both Mathematics and Economics from the University of Mississippi.
