Student Union & Activities and Tech Activities Board (the student programming board for the SUB) plan several outreach events per semester. Here's what's coming up for Spring 2015:

Outreach Opportunities in Spring 2015

January 27: Raiders Give Back: Treat Bags for Kids
SUB West Basement, 11am-1pm
Giving a kid a smile is one of life's greatest joys. Join us and make a treat bag or two to benefit the Children's Home of Lubbock!

February 5-6: Raiders Give Back: Blood Drive
Thursday - SUB Matador Room 9am-3pm
Friday - SUB Free Speech Area (on the UBS Bus) 9am-3pm
Take the opportunity to save lives this month, and join TAB for a blood drive with United Blood Services!

February 11: Raiders Give Back: Valentines for Vets
In front of SUB CopyMail, 11am-1pm
Show your appreciation to those who have served our country and decorate a Valentine's Day card in their honor!

March 2: Raiders Give Back: Bingo Night
Hope Lodge, 6:30 pm
Join TAB as a volunteer and help bring joy to the residents at the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge. Space is limited; pre-registration is mandatory. Sign up link coming soon.

March 23-27: Diversity Week
A week dedicated to celebrating and understanding the importance of diversity throught the community and Texas Tech University. Full event schedule coming soon.

April 13-17: Fears vs. Dreams Wall
SUB Courtyard
Get in touch with your greatest fears and dreams this week and post them on the Fears vs. Dreams Wall, a product of the To Write Love On Her Arms campaign.

April 17: TWLOHA $1 Pancake Day
SUB Free Speech Area, 11am-3pm
Stop by and get some pancakes from TAB, Women's Service Organization and Miller Girls, as we raise money to benefit To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA)!

April 22: Raiders Give Back: Keychains
SUB West Basement, 11am-1pm
Come show your school spirit and serve your community by making Texas Tech themed keychains to be given to the ELS Language Center of Lubbock!
