SAB will be hosting a toy drive for the month of September to benefit the Children's Advocacy Center. Donate to one of our two bins in the building!

Sept. 11 | Rainbow Room | 3-5 p.m.

Texas Department of Family and Protective Services - 1103 MLK Blvd
Help our local youth! Come volunteer out at Rainbow Room. This organization aids our CPS department in serving our children in dire need.

Sept. 12 | Calebs Closet | 3-5 p.m.

1901 50th St - Affordable Storage
Come volunteer with SAB at Calebs Closet from 3 to 5 p.m. We will be organizing and sorting their storage facility. All proceeds go towards local children in the foster care system.

Sept. 13 | Make A Wish Lubbock | 3-5 p.m.

9117 Milwaukee Ave, Suite 500
Support our local Make-A-Wish chapter! Volunteer with SAB in support of children in need!

Sept. 14 | HUB City Outreach | 3-5 p.m.

Join SAB in supporting HUB City Outreach Center from 3 to 5pm. This agency provides aid in an effort to bolster the development of our local youth.

Sept. 15 | Ronald McDonald House Charities - Guest Chef | 3-5 p.m.

Join SAB as we make a meal for families in need at the Ronald McDonald House.

Sept. 26 | Toy Drive and Blanket Making for Children's Advocacy Center | 11 a.m.

Across from TTU PD, the Student Union Building
Help SAB make blankets for the Children's Advocacy Center as we end our September Toy Drive. Stop by and support our local children in need!

Oct. 3 | United We Read | 11 a.m.

Across from TTU PD, the Student Union Building
Support local youth! Participate in United Way's "United We Read" by making a craft for kids as they read a book. Make sure to also sign up on their website to participate in the city-wide version of the event on 10/26!

Oct. 16 | Alcohol Awareness Week Kick-Off - Oct-Sober Fest | 11 a.m.

SUB North Plaza
Come out for a resource fair and activities that encourage healthy alcohol consumption! We hope to see you there!

Come write a positive message for your fellow students and take one for yourself!

Oct. 16-20 | Save a Raider - Red Flag Wall

SUB Terrazzo - all week
As we observe Alcohol Awareness Week, share a tip or a story to help out your fellow Red Raiders on a night out!

Oct. 24 | Tech or Treat | 5:30-9 p.m.

Student Union Building
Sign your organization up to participate in this classic kids' carnival and give kids a safe trick-or-treating alternative. Tech-Or-Treat is FREE for families to attend!

Nov. 1-30 | Book Drive

Help SAB collect all new or slightly used books to donate to our community partners over at Lubbock Literacy. All proceeds will benefit our Lubbock community!

Join SAB in making some toys for our local horse rehabilitation center!

Nov. 7 | Salvation Army Bell Ringing | 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Various United Supermarkets
It's the season of giving! Earn volunteer hours with SAB as we help the Lubbock Salvation Army with the bell ringing. This will be at various United Supermarkets. Sign up on TechConnect!

Come write cards to show gratitude and appreciation for United States Service Members for Veterans Day.

Nov. 28 | Inside Out Foundation - Giving Tuesday | 11 a.m.

Come out to the IOF offices for a day of volunteering. This foundation supports and empowers women who have survived traumatic events. Limit to 5-10 volunteers, will be fed!

Dec. 4 | Science Spectrum Showcase | 12 p.m.

SUB Courtyard
Science Spectrum will be bringing out their CNC machines for students to create a puzzle to donate to local charities!
