  • Based primarily on-campus and in Lubbock.

Program expectations include:

  •  Designing and implementing a servingness project within your college or unit (due by May 2026)
  • Participating in monthly HSI Fellows meetings to build institutional knowledge and share project progress.

Timeline & Commitment:

The HSI Fellows program is a one-year cohort-style commitment. The participants will meet monthly for up to two hours per meeting, beginning in September 2025, with optional activities in between meetings.

Additionally, each fellow will be matched with a graduate student to help mentor for the duration of the fellowship. Fellows are expected to meet with their mentee once a month.

Benefits:

Participants in this program will develop a stronger understanding of effective engagement and support strategies for students at TTU while simultaneously working on a project that enhances student success on campus. The project-based model will align with the HSI Initiatives as well as fellow’s research interests or service to their department or community.

Selected fellows will receive a financial incentive in recognition of their commitment and contributions.
