HSI Fellows Program

2023-2024 HSI Fellows

Purpose

The HSI Fellows Program promotes leadership, collaboration, and professional development among Texas Tech University faculty and staff. The HSI Fellows program also strengthens institutional capacity, advances student success initiatives, and supports the mission of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs) by forming a network of engaged campus leaders who embed servingness across academic and administrative practices. ​

Program Components: ​

Professional Development ​

Participation in structured learning sessions focused on HSI strategies, institutional transformation, and proactive practices. ​

Collaboration & Networking ​

Engagement in cross-departmental partnerships to share knowledge, resources, and outcomes that advance TTU’s servingness. ​

Project Implementation ​

Each HSI Fellow will design and implement a servingness project that supports student success or institutional capacity building. ​

Mentorship & Support ​

Fellows receive mentorship from senior HSI leaders and access to institutional data, tools, and guidance throughout the program. ​
