Benefits of the ESP Network:

Community-Centric Collaboration: The ESP Network emphasizes the co-creation of knowledge through active partnerships between the university and external communities. This approach ensures that scholarly work is conducted for, in, and with the community, aiming for the public good.

Professional Development: The network offers various professional development opportunities, including workshops and mentoring programs, to help members integrate engaged scholarship into their academic and professional practices.

Networking and Events: Members have opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals and potential community partners through events such as the Engaged Scholarship Summit. These gatherings provide platforms for sharing experiences, discussing challenges, and exploring collaborative opportunities.

Recognition of Excellence: TTU acknowledges outstanding contributions to engaged scholarship through awards like the President’s Engaged Scholarship Awards. These awards recognize faculty who demonstrate exemplary and sustained commitment to engagement with community partners.

The ESP Network is part of TTU's broader commitment to engaged scholarship, which involves integrating community partnerships into teaching, research, and service activities to create positive societal impact.
