CASURASteering Committee
The overarching purpose of the CASURA Steering Committee (CSC) is to guide and lead
the CASURA program in pursuit of its expected outcomes.
As an operational committee, the CSC will guide the implementation and future development
of CASURAs various components, including advisement and stewardship of program resources.
As a governance committee, the CSC will serve as the determining entity for CASURA-wide
policy and practice questions, as well as the deciding authority for certain individual/cohort-level
decisions (e.g., determination of course appropriateness for CASURA-related selections,
etc). In this role, the CSC will also seek to ensure equity and fairness to and for
all faculty, students, and staff, participating in CASURA-related coursework or other
